Somerset Storyfest – March 30th-April 1st, 2026
Location: Somerset College, Gold Coast, QLD
Performances of Stickboy (Author Rebecca Young, artist/composer Matt Ottley) and The Messy Bath Monster (Author and artist Tina Wilson, composer Matt Ottley), and a presentation of The Tree of Ecstasy and Unbearable Sadness (Artist/author/composer Matt Ottley).
The Somerset Storyfest Festival also features an exhibition of selected artworks from the 12 books in The Sound of Picture Books series.
Perth – August 4th-6th, 2026

BOOK LAUNCH: Tuesday 4th August, 6-8:30pm
In celebration of CBCA Book Week, you are invited to the launch of the 13th title in The Sound of Picture Books series, Hari’s Bones. Join award-winning author Danny Parker, illustrator Rache Antonio (all the way from the UK) and composer Matt Ottley to watch this gentle story about risk, resilience, and reaching for the stars, come to life.

CBCA NSW & HUNTER REGION and Newcastle Libraries invite you to join Matt Ottley and Tina Wilson on a journey of sound and imagery in this unique intermodal event. Learn how words, images and music combine to create a rich sensory experience. Limited edition prints will be available for sale.
